초현실주의적 독에 중독되면 Today's Ravic

Surrealism, 이것보다 Realism의 반대에 서있기도 힘들다고 생각할 때가 있다.
때론 초현실은 추상(Abstract)보다 더 현실에서 지독히도 도망가고 싶을 때 만들어 지는것 같기 때문이다.
오히려 추상은 또다른 재현 (respresentation)이 아닐까 싶은 것이,
내 속을 알고 싶어 하는 마음에 지독한 묘사 같은것일지도 모른다.
그래서 작가의 마음으로 통하는 열쇠만 찾으면 지적인 평화가 찾아온다.
가끔 초현실주의 작품을 접하게 될 때, 묘한 전율이 흐른다.
이게 로트레아몽이 말한 제봉틀 위의 박쥐 우산일까..
이 아름다움은 독특하다.
현실적 제약이 없어 무한의 가능성이 있기에 (제봉틀과 박쥐 우산이 결합했는데 뭐가 불가능 할까?),
가장 시적인 결합을 찾아 내기란 사실 사막의 모래에서 무언갈 찾는 기분일게다.
그런데 어떠한 영감에 의해 (그것이 순간적 놓치기 쉬운 독특한 감정이라도)
작가는 순간 현실에서 도망가서 저 너머의 무언갈 보고 독특한 감성을 이끌어 온다.
아! 대체 이 우아하고도 슬픈 감정은 무엇인가?
낯섬에 놀라 감상자는 당혹하며, 그 아름다움에 사로잡힌다.
이것은 독과 같아 성분을 모르기에 더욱 빠져든다.
감정적 충족을 따라가지 못하는 지적인 이해는 작가가 대체 어떠한 경험을 했길래 저 너머의 세계로 도망갔는지 이해 할 수가 없는 것이다. 특히 어떠한 경험에서 이 세계를 져버릴 수 밖에 없었는지에 대한 흔적만이 남은 그의 슬픔만을 예상 할 수 있을 뿐이다.
그는 혼자 넘어가 버렸다.
나는, 그 건너지 못할 강의 건너편에서, 저 너머의 노래를 듣고 홀려있는 것이다.
그 뭔가 모를 애뜻함, 너무나도 가고싶지만 그러나 건너갈수 없는 곳, 그래서 나도 슬프다.
이는, 뭔가 죽음에 대한 인간의 근원적 묘한 애착과 닮아있는지도 모른다.
그 미묘한 감정이 계속 나를 중독시키고 간지럽힌다.
뭔가 알 것 같이 속삭이지만 늪처럼 빠져들고
알고보면 나는 미궁 속에서 정신을 잃고 뛰어다니고 있는 것이다.
좋아서, 혹은 미쳐 날뛰는 비명을 질러대면서 말이다.
